Marquee has been doing events on the Mezzanine & Gershon Fox Room for the past 2 years.
What type of events can you host?
Our events range from Weddings, Social, Corporate & Gala Events.
How many people can you fit in the Ballroom?
We can accommodate up to 250 people in the
Gershon Fox Room, if the dance floor and the bar are situated in
the Atrium.
If the dance floor is located within the Ballroom, we can provide
accommodations for up to 230 people.
How many people can fit on the Mezzanine for a standing reception?
We can comfortably fit 350 people, standing, utilizing the lounge seating currently in place.
Is the building Handicap accessible?
Yes.
What color is your linen & is there an extra charge for using it?
The linen is provided at no extra cost. The linen is solid ivory for both the tablecloth & napkins.
Do you provide chair covers?
No, we do not provide chair covers.
Do you provide centerpieces for the tables?
No, we do not provide centerpieces for the tables. We do provide 3-4 votive candles on each table.
Do you customize menus?
Yes, the Chef is more than happy to customize your event menu.
Music & Sound System
We have an amazing sound system that DJ's are welcome to connect to, saving them the hassle of loading in heavy equipment and you the added expense! Additionally, we can offer you myriad Muzak channels that can play on both the Mezzanine & Atrium.
Where do people park?
One Talcott Plaza, located on the corner of Talcott and Market Streets, is a garage directly connected via SkyBridge on the second level to our building. Parking costs are included in our wedding packages & and the garage is open specifically on the weekends just for your event. Non-Wedding clients pay a pre-determined fee to have access to the garage both on weekdays & weekends.
Special Hotel Room Rates
We have made arrangements with a number of downtown hotels to work with you in reserving a room block for your guests at specially discounted rates. It is our pleasure to offer Marquee brides and grooms a complimentary hotel suite for their wedding night. Clients are responsible for making this reservation.
